Adopted Acres Halloween 86 Shaving Soap 4oz

Halloween 86 bottles a night rather than a single ingredient: trick-or-treating in the 1980s, jack-o’-lanterns flickering on porch steps and fallen leaves crunching on the sidewalk. Marcus Klinger of The Barbershop Duet came up with the idea, continuing a run that includes Rookie Card and Triple Dog Dare, and Adopted Acres built the scent around it.

You get scorched pumpkin and fall grass first, then greasepaint, hairspray and cold night air, with a quick flash of gasoline like a passing car. It is not a sweet pumpkin-spice soap. It is meant to smell like the evening itself.

It comes in EIEIO, the Adopted Acres house base built on Wagyu beef tallow, duck fat and lard, finished with aloe vera juice and glycerin. The lather is dense and low-bubble with solid cushion and glide, and enough slickness stays on the skin for a quick touch-up pass without reloading the brush.
