Homestead Barbershop is a farm-town take on the classic barbershop scent. The reference points are Rive Gauche — a fragrance woven deep into the history of American shaving cream — and Maison Margiela's At The Barber, pulled out to the corner shop on a Saturday morning where people who spent the week among corn and cattle line up before the doors open.

Star anise, rosemary and basil give it a brisk, green opening, cut with bergamot and bitter orange. Lavender and geranium carry the heart, with clove and coumarin adding masculine spice. Patchouli, oak moss and vetiver ground it, while black pepper, guaiac wood and white musk keep a clean depth running under the surface. There is a red-leather-barber-chair note threaded through the whole thing.

Alcohol-based over an aloe vera and botanical-extract foundation — calendula, red clover, plantain, chamomile and white willow bark — so it tones and refreshes without the harsh bite. Ships as a splash-or-spray bottle; pairs with the matching Homestead Barbershop shaving soap.
