Imaginarium is Adopted Acres' artisan answer to two heavyweight designer references — Louis Vuitton's Imagination and Creed Aventus — reworked with smoked rhubarb, sea salt and ambroxan so it lands somewhere neither of those goes.
It opens bright and fruity on citrus, pineapple and smoked rhubarb. Neroli, jasmine, birchwood and a sea salt air accord fill the heart and keep it clean rather than sweet. The base is where the character is: musk, ambroxan, oakmoss, vanilla and incense smoke, giving a modern, slightly boozy woodiness that lingers well past the shave.
A 4 oz tallow shaving soap that loads quickly and builds a dense, stable lather with good cushion and slick, easy glide. It holds up through multiple passes without going airy, and the post-shave feel is comfortable rather than tight.
