Texas Spirit Oud Noir is a collaboration between Adopted Acres Soap Co. and Bary Bedford of A Texan Shaves — the original Texas Spirit taken somewhere darker and more refined. The bluebonnet accord is dialled up and a clean oud runs underneath it, so the result keeps the ruggedness but gains real polish.

Bergamot, white berries and citrus open it, softened by a midnight-air note and warm vanilla. The heart leads with the enriched bluebonnet, joined by rose, black pepper, patchouli, fir needles and wild herbs. The base is the interesting part: clean oud over leather, tonka bean, toasted oak, cedarwood, oakmoss absolute, black musk, clove buds and a faint touch of gunpowder. Open sky, weathered ranch fence, sun going down.

The splash is built on a soothing botanical base — aloe vera leaf juice for hydration, with calendula, red clover, plantain, chamomile and white willow bark extracts to calm irritation and take down redness. Kosher vegetable glycerin holds moisture, caprylic/capric triglycerides condition without any greasiness, and SD40 alcohol gives the clean, toning finish. Pairs with the matching Texas Spirit Oud Noir shaving soap.
