Chá Nova imagines a tea ceremony held on another planet. The scent starts with a burst of citrus and ends in a quiet, musky dry-down, with oolong tea running through the middle.

Bergamot, mandarin, orange and litsea cubeba keep the opening bright and zesty. Oolong tea and a touch of nutmeg form the heart, and musk with fig rounds out the base. If you like Nishane's Wulong Chá, this is HAGS's version of that tea-forward idea.

The Formula: Alcohol-Based Aftershave Lotion

This is the alcohol version of Chá Nova, made on HAGS's current Tesseract (4,3,4) base. The alcohol gives a clean, quick-drying finish, and aloe, cucumber, calendula, witch hazel, chamomile and rose waters, plus sodium hyaluronate, glycerin and allantoin, keep skin feeling comfortable. A PEG-40 castor oil emulsifier keeps the lotion clear, and it soaks in fast without a greasy residue.

Chá Nova is also available as an alcohol-free Witch Hazel aftershave.

How to Use

  1. Shake the bottle well.
  2. Put 5 to 7 drops in your palm.
  3. Rub your hands together and press it onto freshly shaved skin.
  4. Let it dry for a few seconds before moisturizer or any other skincare.
